Love someone and do something about it.

We all got feelings and  at some point we have either loved or adored someone but the question is what have you dome about that. Well either you have loved or adored you had a choice and a decision was made, a very brave person would tell that someone how you really feel or you ignored the feelings.
Both these choices have consequences :
  •   They could feel the same about you
  •    They could not be feeling the same.

I know this sounds really courageous especially for us (girls), to tell a guy you love him because you get those guys who are really compassionate and you get those I don’t care types. My philosophy is never tell a guy you love him unless you are very sure of yourself. And you can be able to take rejection and humiliation because once you tell a guy that you love him you are obviously admitting to being vulnerable and they can take advantage of and use you for sex and once they are tired they will go.

Telling a guy you love can sometimes work in your favour or  against you. Its quite normal for guys to tell a girl how they feel, i would like to believe they take rejection well as compared to some girls.  Below are my reasons as to why I would never tell a guy I loved him, I don’t care if he is Obama’s son.
  • ·         Rejection
  • ·         Humiliation
  • ·         Being used
  • ·         Being a target
  • ·         Appearing desperate

The list is endless for me, but for someone else who is more courageous, adventurous might take these very lightly and say I will never know what that guy feels about me, I’m very old fashioned a guy should do the chasing and not the other way around, if he loves me will tell me. That’s my philosophy.

The elephant in the room

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when u read the blog title, come on think about it. Okay let me start by saying when I first read the topic I was a bit lost or taken aback, because if we look at it critically  one would think how does an elephant fit in the room in the first place.

But if we take this title and put it to today’s context or way of speech, its quite different. We refer to a fat or full figured or well structured person as an elephant . Whenever a fat person walks in a room there will always be those people who always laugh or stare.

Lets look at this my point of view,  according to the way I see this is there are two types of fat people obese and the ones born to be fat.  Either way we cannot point fingers. No matter how fat a person might be it is not for us to call them names or be judgemental, because you don’t know what names people are calling you behind your back it might something worse.

Celebrating what you have.

I am a very proud of my upbringing and I make sure that I always remember and celebrate what I have. Most people don’t appreciate nor celebrate what they have, is it in our human nature that a person is not content with what they have.

What we need to understand is that we are in that particular place for a reason, to be happy in this lifetime one needs to celebrate and appreciate  what you have. Many  people are not celebrating what they have, they think being poor or being born poverty is a burden which is not the case.

I was born in poverty and if there is one thing my parents thought me was being content and satisfied with whatever i had, the bible is also proof of what I’m saying,  ten commandments clearly says thou shalt not want his neighbour’s wife.  That should be enough for one to cherish whatever little thing they may have.

Every day is a good day

Everyday we encounter many challenges some good and some bad. Some people react to those challenges in a good way and some react to them badly. But what we need to do when we come across these challenges is to take them as they are and learn from them.

I believe that if we treat everyday as a  good day, no matter what troubles we may come across  the best thing we can do is to learn from the troubles and no matter hurt we may be we always need to keep a smile and treat everyday as a good.  Because we know behind every tear we shed laughter and happiness will follow.

Lets face it, if we don’t go through the trial and tribulations we will never learn nor will we grow, so the best thing to do is embrace every moment and we must always remember to always keep a smile because whenever one smile it feels like a load of burden is lifted from your shoulders believe.  And you also need to know that whatever you might be going through someone, somewhere is going through a similar if not worse  problem, so for that reason you need to always treat everyday as a good and remember to always smile no matter what the circumstance or situation.
