Something for the mind

Restless nation : Making sense of troubled times  by William Gumede, a book which is so much interesting it might not be as interesting to many because if focuses on ANC, we all know that not everyone is fond of the party. I must say this is a good book, not for everyone though but for those who can keep an open mind an not see red when it comes to politics.

“William Gumede takes a fearless look at these and other burning matters which threatens our democracy, he does not only criticize but he also offers solution to our unique challenges”
If one actually takes the time to read the book, and read it with an open mind it can be very educational. It focuses on the leadership of former president Thabo Mbeki and the current president Jacob Zuma, both these regimes have something in common and yet they are so different.

The events that led to the election of the current president, the dismissal of Malema and his sidekicks, the build up to Mangaung. These events have had some kind of influence to the way people view the party, to the way the party is being managed.  A quote from Albert Einstein
