Msizo on love

What is love? I ask myself this question every time someone says they love me. Do we really know the meaning of that word or we are just using it get what we want. I hear many people say that “I love you and always will” is that even possible? Will you be able to love them if they did something bad to you?
On the real…….I would like to believe that we are forced by circumstances how do you say I love when you clearly know you don’t. Is it even possible to love people at the same time? Someone once said to me it is possible but then I wouldn’t know.
I believe that love is different for everyone depending on our feelings Lust, Romance and attachment. All these aspects differ from person to person, many people mistake love for lust. What do you feel when you love someone? The love I know is accepting, appreciating and love always wants someone to feel good.

How to step from the top of a 100 foot pole?

Stepping from a 100 foot pole can be very hard, because whenever we fall in life we always fall alone, no matter how close we may be with our family members or friends. This is the only way we learn from our mistakes.

It is like stepping down from the top, and sometimes when people fall, they fall very hard with no one to catch or help them out. The best way is to step from the top your way.

My hero

Being raised as an only child and being told to respect and be content with whatever little thing I have. I have grown into this women who is able to use her own initiative and think for herself and make up her own mind. Many would ask how I chose my hero, with a little laugh i would say "well a person that i consider to my hero is a selfless person, and who is able to inspire other and wants to see a good change" Mouthful i know, the next question is who is your hero. Without a blink Nelson Mandela

He is loved and known by the whole world, children know his name at just seeing his pictures there is no doubt that he is indeed hero.He came from nothing and made a name for himself of course some would not agree with me on this one. He was part of the liberation and he believed in the struggle but did not resort to violence, again some would not  agree.

Along his friend O.R Tambo they opened the first black law firm, now what's there not to admire against the odds he was determined to make somethig of himself and through that he succecced. Our communities and sorrounding shape the way we see things and the way we relate to things, Nelson is loved ny many people community, could this have influenced the choice i made in choosing my hero?. Be that as it may he still my hero, along side Desmond Tutu, Goven Mbeki,  and others.

When he walked out of prison in his speech he said "Never, never, and never again shall it be that this beautiful land will this land experience oppression of one by another..."  These are the words that inspire me and they remind me why we should always embrace one another and treat each other with dignity and respect we all need and deserve.

We are what we do

The things we do, they way we conduct ourselves in public and the way we act determine who we are.  The way we carry ourselves will have an impact on others, and the things we say or do will be forever associated with us, no matter how hard we try to move on or repent.

For instance take a person who has been convicted of murder or rape, they will always be associated with his acts this is how our society functions. No,matter how hard we try if something happens people will say it is you even if you did not do that thing, this is the way our minds are programmed to work.

This of course might not always be the fact, in our society we have two types of people's those who are willing to see and accept change, and those who always look for negative aspects on people, they don't want to accept a change. These are the choices that many of our communities member make.

It should be a lesson to everyone that once you do something that will paint you in a negative way, you should consider the after effects of that particular deed, and also think of whether people will want to be associated with you.

In actaul facts we don't want to be associated with murderers and rapist because we have this mentality that our reputation will also be tainted.

I am what, I am...

At just one glance one might think that they have me all figured out, but be warned it’s not like that at all.  Often people have come to me and asked if I could talk, amazed I would say what makes you think that I could not talk, answer would be you seldom speak and you never smile.

What people observe is true because I have seen people frown whenever I speak, all because I don’t speak like a 21 year old should. I asked myself how should a 21 year old should speak and I never got any answers to that question, I guess this how I am.  But who really cares, because I don’t care what people think about me.
I’m the type of girl who don’t speak much but when I eventually I speak my mind, gets irritated easily at people who don’t give others the benefit of the doubt, many times I have fallen but I just get back up and dust myself and move on, Had a tough childhood but that does not define who I am and where I am going. I like it when people don’t understand me, that what set me apart from the rest of us. I am what, I am

We are afraid of the wrong things.

We as humans have the ability to choose and the ability to differentiate between right and wrong, in some cases people are really afraid of the wrong things on the other hand we are so scared of the wrong things even though we know that they are wrong. And we do them anyway.
Negative side to doing the wrong is that we will into trouble and sometimes even jailed. Throughout our childhood and even in our adulthood we are guided or told that if we do certain things we will get into trouble but to what extent do we listen to advice.
Sometimes the things that our parents consider to be wrong we consider them to not be wrong at all and so we do them. But we are in a time where we know that no bad or wrong deed will go unpunished, so in that case we choose to refrain from doing that wrong thing because you know you might not be lucky to escape the consequences of your actions.

Easy way out

http://tx.english-ch.com/teacher/dai/swisssuicide.jpg

When ever we as humans come across problems in our lives it seems like we might never come out of it, or when things get too much to handle we look for the easy way ouot. We oftenly find our selves trapped in our sorrows where we feel we are all alone and we are the only one's with troubles.

The challenges we come across are sometimes to hard to bear, and we look for ther ways to end our misery. At times things might seem as hard and we think that we are thrown right at the deep end of the ocean. If the problems are beyond our reach the only things comes through our minds is suicide, of course not everyone goes through this phase but most of the peope does, we think what will happen if i just die? I call it taking the easy way out.

Suicide ight be the way out........but what about misery it will bring to the people that are close to you. Depression is sometimes the reason why so many people commit suicide. A few years back my cousin committed suicide, the reason to that we will never know but all we know that it brought so much misey to our family, just a few hours ago a family friend committed suicide, he shot himself perhaps the problems they had were just too much, both their families could have helped them.

These are not just the ordinary people sometimes they are very successful and they are professional, this goes to show that no matter how suxxessful one can when depression strikes it hits everyone hard, yes some people are lucky to have survived it. But not all are lucky.

Fish falling from sky

This is one topic that has been giving all sorts of troubles it has been gibing me slepless nights.. after giving the topic some thoughts. I asked myself is that even possible the only i could come across was no....but it might have been possible in the ancient time. Time things could happen this is the time of Josephs, John and Jesus.

But with help of google, I was able to find out that it is possible but this is only possible with the help of tornado's. This happens in such a way that objects get lifted The strong updrafts can lift objects to great heights within a thunderstorm cloud and carried long distances.

When a tornado passes over the ground, it may sweep objects into its circulation and then throw them out again, kind of like a discus thrower. If the item is lightweight like a fish or a small frog, it may be caught in the strong storm/cloud updrafts for a long time, rising higher and higher until it is finally thrown out or drops out like a hailstone
http://www.islandnet.com/~see/weather/whys/fishnfrogs.htm

It is the only thing that makes sense to at this point in time,  Otherwise there is no othe explaniation as to why Fish and other animals would fall from the sky. This may cause the fishes and other animals to fall far from their place of origin.
Too much to digest......

Its all about choices

The choices we make today will have some kind of an impact in the future be it is good or bad. We make choices each and everyday of our lives some choices are made for us, these choices we either make or made on our behalf can either have a negative or positive effects but it all depends on what we do to make sure that the choices we have made work for us. But behind every choice made there is a reason.

I have taken a choice to further my studies so that i can be able to have a better future and increase the chances of gaining a job that will benefit me, this is because we live in a country where we able to make our own choices and use our own initiative to improve our lives.

We as humans have the mindset or conscious that guides us to whether our choice is right or wrong, but so often we ignore that inner voice, and we do otherwise. We have the ability to differentiate between right and wrong , we make the choices knowing very well what we are doing, in some cases the person will be forced by circumstances.

Whatever choice that we make be it good or bad, we only have our conscious to live with, but we should always remember that choices are relevant to consequences.

What colour is the wind?

Wind moving air. That is really a difficult question to answer, as part of my research i asked my sister and she looked at as if i was crazy, I then asked a man on the street and he said "my child, i don't know whether you are stupid or what but i would like to believe that you are smart" I did not know what to think at the moment myself.
Then someone said to me we cannot exactly know the colour of the wind but we can estimate or use our own initiative to think. So I did exactly that, I used my imagination. The colour of the wind depends of the way we see things. I say the colour of the winds on the weather its self, the more its hot the more the wind is red. The more its cold the more the colour of the wind is blue.
This is the mentalility that I have that blue is associated with coldness, and red is associated with hotness. To gain more know more about the subject I then went oto my high school geography teacher who told me that the colour of the wind is determined by the particles suspended within the wind. All the time she is saying this to me its like to she speaking Greek. I essence I believe that we as humans play an important to determining the colour of the wind.. But can we really answer the question?
